Awesome! as someone who is very familiar with being in physical altercations it takes some good training to remember what to do in the shock of that moment. Im very impressed with the way classes are run and at El Dorado Hills Jujitsu, the instructors take a personal intrest in each student, and the students also help train each other. The skill set you learn there is great for BJJ competitions, but also a good base in self defense. Eliot is a wonderful coach and his staff is amazing. Itss been a great place for me to train and grow.

Great video glad to see you had positive results. I know this video is several years old so I hope you are still training today...My situation was similar in that I trained just about everyday sometimes twice a day if I had a competition coming up and always felt like something was holding me back. About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with HOCM and told that I had to stop everything and could never go back. I had a major surgery and everything is better but man do I miss training and teaching the kids classes. My whole life has been about martial arts and BJJ was the perfect fit for me so walking away was incredible difficult. A couple of years removed from surgery I am eager to find a way back onto the mats. Do you have any advice or insight on different ways to train without issues? Private teaching vs a full class? Flow-rolling? etc...
